Early Life[]
Eric's first client dinner was with Philippe Jabre, the former managing director of GLG Partners (a UK-based Hedge Fund) and current CEO of Jabre Capital Partners S.A. The dinner took place at the japanese restuarant Nobu, and Eric had gastroentiritis and threw up at the table in front of the client, but still managed to secure his business.

Eric is married to Candice Allbright, and they have two young girls together. He admitted in Lone Wolf and Cub that Candice looks after the girls' school results, while he tries to 'do the culture': "a bit of Pixar, a Gallery sometimes, they even have me reading poetry."
